DougD over at FHO posted a heads up for Old Time String Band Day at Appalshop in Whitesburg, Kentucky, on Saturday, March 17. The faculty includes Randy Wilson, Jesse Wells, and John Haywood. I've attended workshops with all those guys and thought they were great. Would definitely recommend trying to get there if you're within any reasonable traveling distance.
