I wrote this for my dear friend Shirley Holman Hernandez, who, along with her Mother and family, is watching her Father die, he is in final stages of Parkinsons and dementia and has had several siezures over the past few days, please pray that his passing is easy on them all

My love for you I leave behind so that

You’ll always have it even though we can’t

Be together any more just now

But I’ll be waiting ‘till the time you come

To join me in this ever loving place

Where all who ever loved us give us grace

I know you’ll grieve for me when I am gone

 But please remember you are not alone

My spirit stays beside you every eve

To watch and love you every hour you breathe

So that you’ll know, when your time comes to join

Me, I will be right there with you again
