I am interested in learning some simple jazz on 5 string in more or less Scruggs style, not so much Melodic. I have been working on Caravan, Over the Rainbow and When you're Smiling and enjoying the interesting chords. I do not want to make this my life's work so am not really looking for something too technical of encyclopaedic proportions.
I have found these 2 books on line, does anyone have any experiences with either or recommend anyything? The simple looking one doesn't even state if it is for 5 string or includes tab. The Pat Cloud book looks more complicated than I am interested in.
