Hello folks,
This is just kind of a random post, but I just wanted to speak with some of y'all who listen to country radio, both on American and Canadian stations.
Even though I live here in the states (Ann Arbor, MI, which gets some Canadian stations, mostly out of Windsor, Ontario), some of the Canadian stations can reach here, and if you live here it's pretty much the only place in the US where you can pick up any Canadian stations.
But, I just wanted to discuss some of your favorite Canadian Country Music artists.
I'll just put a list here, just so you can see who I like.
~Terri Clark ~ I've listened to Terri since I was three, and I have met her numerous times. She is best known for her debut single from 1995, entitled "Better Things To Do". Other songs include: "Emotional Girl", "she released a country version of Warren Zevon's "Poor, Poor Pitiful Me", "Easy On The Eyes, Hard On The Heart", and many more.
~Carolyn Dawn Johnson ~ Best known for her song "Complicated" (not to be confused with Avril Lavigne's song of the same name.)
Paul Brandt ~ Nothing more to be said here. In my mind, he is Canada's George Strait or Garth Brooks.
Michelle Wright ~ Best known for her single "Crank My Tractor".
That's pretty much it. Kinda short, but that's my list. I do like other artists that are non-country that are Canadian such as Gordon Lightfoot and Neil Young.
