Hi everyone!
I am having a problem with my banjo, and I'm not sure what is causing it. I've been playing banjo for almost two years so I suppose I'm still too new to understand how to fix my problem. I'm also new to Banjo Hangout, so I'm sorry if my question has been answered already. I've had my banjo for about a year, and it has been sounding great up until about two months ago. I started playing my banjo after a month long winter break and realized that when I play the first fret on the B string, a weird buzzing sound is played instead of the correct note. It's really getting annoying, and I really need to fix it as soon as possible because I'll be touring with my school's folk ensemble this spring. If anyone can help me, I'd be very thankful. Could the cold have done something to my banjo? I do go to school in Utah, and I left my banjo at my dorm during winter break. I don't think it would have gotten cold enough to damage my banjo, but it might have.
Thank you,
Jared
