How often do you tend to change your strings? and brands for CH?

not having been around any banjo people, i was wondering how often folks tend to change them(and is it due to tone fall off or they simply won't hold tune any longer)?

what are some string brands and gauges that folks tend to like for CH?

are there 80/20 bronze sets and phospher bronze?
