This is a a mystery. Plays and sounds absolutely great. Looks to me to be a converted plectrum Silver Bell with a Special resonator. The tone ring is a regular solid Bacon & Day ring without holes. Somebody professionally filled a hole in the peg head, can practically not be seen - well done. The numbers match on stick and rim. 25389 The banjo has a 27" scale. The Oettinger is an original 5- string tail piece - very rare I believe? Would like to hear Polle's opinion. From one Scandinavian to another! Having problems getting the pictures up! Will do so soon.
