For a long time, I have preferred to weave a piece of tissue between the strings behind the bridge. To me, that cuts down on some harmonics I don't like and gives me a little better note separation. Subtle, but I like it. Obviously, this doesn't look too good. Does anybody know of a better way to do this, something more attractive to use, maybe, or a better way to produce the same results? FYI, I'm speaking of both bluegrass and open back banjos.
