The dreaded doctor visit today.....

I have been putting this visit to the doctor off. I just knew that I had gained weight over the holidays, and knew that was a bad thing. I got summoned to the doctor's today. Could dodge it no longer.

Well, first off, I had Not gained, but lost another 3 pounds. He said for me not to lose more. I was thin enough. I felt okay about that.

I had to take in my records of blood sugar..twice a day it's taken, when I first get up and before bed. That went over real well. My blood sugar was normal for the last 3 months. I breathed a sigh of relief over that. The goal the doc has is wanting to put the diabetes into remission. I would sure like that! They said that I had a good start on that....that makes me happy.

Some tests. I have been feeling a little lethargic. Yep. Have an infection in the body, and was given meds for that. I knew that something was 'out of sorts' but didn't know what it was. Problem found, and meds got today for that.

Got that visit done and over. Have to go back in a couple of weeks to check on the bod's progress. End of month blood test are all scheduled...guess I can't dodge that.

Glad this went well. I feel better. Been nervous about going, but the doctor is a friend...and we visit. He's a nice man.

I heard something this afternoon on Dr. Oz program. A 30 second at home test to see how the arteries are. Checking on the heart thingy...what they said...lean over and touch your toes. If the arteries are flexable, you are okay. I did that. Held onto my toes standing there for several seconds...no problem whatsoever. Odd test. I did it anyway watching the program.
