I've been playing guitar for about a decade. I also play the piano, organ, trombone, and a little bit of mandolein. I also repair guitars and recently got into building custom guitars. Im interested in buying a four string banjo. I have done alot of research on the difference between a tenor and a plectrum but reliable info is hard to find so I figuredd this was the place to go. I see that tenor is MUCH more popular than plectrum. Im interested in playing 1920's jazz, dixieland, ect. What do you reccomend and why? Thanks in advance for the help. -Alex
