I have a 1979 Ome Double XX banjo, Plays and sounds great.. however I have noticed that the black plastic capping that they used to put on top of the wood rim is starting to crack and separate on the edge of the wood rim.. It does not seem to effect the sound or playabilty of the banjo any that I am aware of... ... Should I be concerned or try to glue it back on if it comes off any further or what... any advise?? Chuck don't make his banjo this way anymore... Anyone else have this problem with an old Ome ?
Thanks Julie
