Been playing my genuine made-in-China Epiphone MB-100 entry level banjo. Such a deal, for $143. This is a great sounding, and great playing banjo, and also great looking. I'm not shilling for the Chinese, but I have to say if you're looking for a good inexpensive ( I won't call it cheap, it's very well built ) banjo, you should give one of these a look. I bought mine used, but it's in mint condition, so it looks brand new to me. I think the asking price for new ones is somewhere around $170 -- still worth a look at that price. Compare it to a Goodtime and see what you think, maybe I'm just a natural-born sucker, but I think you'll see a very favorable comparison with the Goodtime.
